April 2026
Wow, wow, wow. April, you were so so sweet to me. Endless laughs and smiles, hours with friends and in the sun, new core memories unlocked nearly every day… I will replay this month in my mind forever. Such a sweet month, I’m naming it “stroopwafel.”

1. The Snapshot
This month started with a few days of rest before it really got started. Continuing with my pottery lessons (such a fun new hobby!), going to the beach with friends spontaneously, picnics in the park with more friends, lectures from my last class of this Master’s, wellness appointments, working on my thesis, friends from the USA visiting, TEDxVU talk, museums, Koningsdag with friends new and old, clubbing, tulips, baseball games, new cities/villages as day trips… It was endless fun. Truly.
At the beginning of the year, I made a Vision Board for 2026, but also for each month of the year. That way, my goals are smaller and seem more manageable. I’ve replaced my Pinterest pictures for April to my own pictures. All but one goal on the April Vision Board, done.
2. The Questions & Answers
What did I move closer to this month? I am so close to the finish line of this Master’s program, almost a double-diploma girlie.
Where did I grow, even if results aren’t visible yet? I grew in trusting my gut (intuition) and making choices that are aligned with myself.
What am I most proud of? I am incredibly proud of this beautiful life I’ve built here in the Netherlands and all the friends I’ve gathered around me.
What’s no longer serving me? I need to release the belief that I am incapable of making good money on my own.
What’s the next right step? I will “lock-in” with my thesis and finish this degree well, while being grounded, at peace, and content.
3. The Manifestations
Manifestation: I have limitless possibilities available to me.
Action Plan: (1) Live out the priorities I set (2) Make time for friends and sun and rest (3) Start every day off on the right footing
Limiting Beliefs to Let Go Of: (1) I cannot make the money I want on my own (2) I have to work a “normal” job (3) My body doesn’t know how to function properly on its own
Daily Affirmation: I am open to all possibilities.
Visualizations: I see a happy and smiling face, I feel a warm and sunny heart, I have everything I need already.
4. The Challenge
For the next 31 days, I challenge you to do something every week that makes your home feel more alive. This can be getting flowers, using a lemony linen spray on furniture, welcoming friends over for dinners… whatever might make your home feel more alive, do it. Spring is springing this year, and I feel it in my bones. Our homes are our safe spaces and should be feeling the shift out of winter too. Every week, do something that makes you feel the life springing up.
